INTRODUCTION<\/h2>\n
The FBUS & F.Port 2.0 (FP2) are the new upgraded protocols designed to integrate SBUS and S.Port together. The new protocols can enable FBUS\/FP2 capable receiver (Host) to communicate on one line with several Slave accessories. All Slave accessories connected by a FBUS\/FP2 capable receiver (Host) can be configured wirelessly via the radio configured with the selected protocol.<\/p>\n
The recently released FBUS protocol further complements FP2, adding the advantage of higher data rate over FP2.\u00a0 Please make sure the receiver and slave devices are configured with the same protocol, noting devices configured for FBUS cannot work with devices configured for FP2 protocols. <\/em><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

Q: Which receiver range are FBUS capable?<\/strong>
\nHost receivers must be an FBUS capable receiver. Currently the Archer and TD series support the FBUS protocol. There will be more FBUS support in the future upcoming receivers (TW, etc.)<\/p>\n
Q: What are the changes from version F.Port 1.0 to 2.0?<\/strong>
\nThe F.Port version 1.0 was the initial concept to simplify the bus transmission integrating SBUS and S.Port together from one receiver to a single device.
\nThe F.Port 2.0 is enhanced to allow the host device to communicate with several slave devices when formed into a chain. All the connected devices can be upgraded and configured by the ACCESS radio over the air.<\/div> <\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Before FBUS, duplex data transmission between devices for both Signal via SBUS and the configuration command & telemetry data interaction via Smart Port base were using two different protocols, and two separate connection lines.<\/p>\n
FBUS now allows you to connect only one standard servo cable with the integration of SBUS signals and S.Port telemetry through a single connection. This opens up the possibility of seamlessly pairing a single receiver on FBUS protocol with multiple telemetry devices with the added benefit of simplifying your setup requiring less connections and protocols.<\/p><\/div> <\/div> <\/div>

FBUS Usage (without Flight Controller)<\/strong>
\nWith the addition of FBUS protocol, the system supports multiple FBUS capable devices like ADV sensors, Xact servos, video transmitter, ESC, and other accessories. All FBUS capable devices can be daisy-chained together and controlled by the receiver (Host) via FBUS.<\/p>\n
FBUS Usage with Flight Controller<\/strong>
\nBefore FBUS, models equipped with Flight Controllers usually used the Flight Controller as a hub to connect components like motors, video transmitter, ESC, and other accessories.
